Andrew graduated from Birmingham University in 1987, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991, and 1 month after gaining his practicing certificate, set up A P Robinson & Co in 1994. The practice started with a few clients and has since grown to become one of the largest independent practices in the region. While Andrew takes an active role in dealing with clients’ accounting and tax requirements specialising in tax planning, it is business development and profit improvement planning that interests Andrew the most, helping clients to maximise their opportunities, increasing their wealth and improving their quality of life.
Sarah joined the firm as a Junior Accountant in July 1998 and progressed through study to become fully qualified in 2007.
Sarah manages a portfolio of small and medium size business clients. She brings excellent knowledge, empathy and commercial acumen to her engagements. Sarah particularly enjoys assisting clients with business development and tax planning. Her team of full and part qualified accountants assist in ensuring an outstanding level of client care is achieved.
Outside of the practice, Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as cycling and running often to the benefit of worthy charities.
Emma joined A P Robinson & Co in 1997 as a trainee. After qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2001 she became a Fellow of the Association in 2006.
Emma is responsible for managing the practice which brings in a multitude of skills including Human Resources, IT and mentoring to name but a few.
Away from the office Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, either at a musical, at the cinema, exploring a National Trust property or just hanging around together at home in Brigg.
Emma is an avid murder mystery fan whether that being reading a vintage murder mystery or watching a classic Agatha Christie whodunnit on stage or on the tv. Emma is proud to own all the Agatha Christie books. Scandi Noir dramas are also popular in the Brook home.
Graham joined Blow Abbott back in 1996 from a background working in the tax department of Coopers and Lybrand (now PWC).
Graham is a Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a fully qualified Financial Adviser and he heads up Blow Abbott’s Financial Services business where his focus is on wealth generation for his clients through the efficient use of pensions and investments.
So what else can we tell you about Graham?
Graham loves Italy; the food, trekking through the countryside and mountains and he is currently attempting to learn the language. When not indulging in his Italian passion, his other main love is extreme running, including fell running and Ultramarathons, which consist of running for over 10 hours and 100km through the mountains!

Elliot Beaumont has been with Blow Abbott since 2009, following his training as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Not only is he a Chartered Accountant, he is also a Statutory Auditor and accredited to undertake Probate work.
Elliot manages a team of over 20 accountants and advisors at Blow Abbott. His clients include all types of businesses, both locally and further afield, but he really enjoys working with Directors of owner-managed businesses, helping them interpret financial information in order to make better business decisions.

Elliot also owns a fine food and drink delicatessen in Louth, with his wife, although his favourite food is pepperoni pizza!
He is also a real-life hero; saving a mother and baby from a burning building following a chip pan fire in 2007 when he was living in Manchester.
Best piece of advice he’s ever been given?
Stretch yourself by committing beyond your comfort zone to motivate yourself to achieve these goals.
